| About Me |
| Atlas is a young dog who doesn't appear to have been given much training or direction. His socialization with other dogs is lacking but given the opportunity, he is romping and playing with female dogs and enjoying himself. He resopnds best when his human leaders are very black and white with him and he knows exactly what is allowed and what isn't. He's very handler sensitive so as long as he knows who is boss, he's fine. He's housebroken and minds pretty well. He could use some more leash training. He will make someone a very good, active pet and be a nice protector for the home. He's big enough to be a watchdog in addition to a family pet. On top of it, he's a very handsome boy with an athletic body. He's a bit on the active side right now because he's young but I'm sure he'll settle nicely into a family situation. He adores people and loves attention. A very nice dog. There's a lot of puppy left in him, he mouths things to experience them and approaches life with youthful enthusiasm.
Update from foster home: He does get along with male dogs, they just need proper introduction. He also may make a good sports dog. He has tons of play drive and food drive and is getting where he wants to please. He's very athletic. He's also good on sheep - but he works them like a german shepherd, not like a border collie.
