Since he came from the shelter as a stray, we have no confirmation of his actual age. Based on his teeth, some hearing loss, and general condition we think Bob is approximately 12 years old, although he could be younger.
Bob is a gorgeous fellow and has really blossomed since arriving in foster care. He is good to groom, knows how to use a doggie door and appreciates a good bone to chew on. And, he LOVES to go for long walks and to the dog park for social hour.
In terms of his quirks - he's a bit 'assertive' with other dogs around feeding time and has a tendency to growl and dominate small dogs (especially other males). The cat stays far away from him, too. When feeding time has passed be returns to his relaxed self. He would probably be best in a home without cats or small dogs, just in case.
Bob is really a sweet and gorgeous fellow and easy to be around. He deserves a loving home for the rest of his years. He has already won a place in my heart!
