I'm a young energetic BC or BC mix with a smooth coat and classic black and white coloring, a narrow athletic body, and no tail. I'm extremely quick and agile. I have tons of energy, I learn very quickly, and I am eager to please. I enjoy going for runs, walks and hikes. I love to play fetch with any toy, especially Frisbees! I would love to do dog sports at some point too since I’m an awesome jumper! Right now I’m a little unsure of myself so if you can help me gain more self confidence and exposure to new people and places I’ll be the best companion you could want. In the house, I will go in my crate on my own for a nap or if you say "go crate". I like to keep my people’s feet warm in the calm evening hours. I'm also potty trained. I already know how to sit on command and I wait to be told "ok" before entering or leaving the house. My leash manners are coming along very well. I like to lay on the first step of the pool when its hot. Riding in cars is fine with me. I love to play with other dogs and am curious about cats but leave them alone. I love my people and follow them all over the house. I'm a very affectionate and cuddly pup (I love belly rubs!!) and I'll make an awesome fun companion for an active home. He is currently in a foster home in Ahwatukee.

How the AZBCR Found Me
He was on the euthanasia list at Maricopa County Eastside shelter due to fearful behavior while inside the shelter. In our intake evaluation he was cautious but stable.
