About Me
ADOPTION PENDING!! Mardi is a sweet and gentle soul who loves everyone she meets. She is great with kids and other dogs (although she doesn't like bossy dominant dogs at the dog park), unknown with cats. Unusual for a border collie, she is lower energy and not very toy driven. She is house trained and crate trained and enjoys hanging out with her people. She is a fairly "soft" dog (meaning she works best with only gentle correction). She came to our rescue because her owners thought it would be best if she moved somewhere other than Oklahoma. Mardi is storm phobic and will be better off in a region where huge windstorms and tornados are much less prevalent. This special girl needs a very special home. If there isn't someone home most of the time, then at least someone who works close enough to get home if a storm hits. She should not be left outside alone ever if there is no one at home. She is a beautiful dog with a wonderful temperament and we will be very careful to find her the right environment to keep her safe.
